Red power-on<br \/>\nLED at the tip of the sonde indicates operation. If LED goes off, battery is weak. Sonde is<br \/>\nattached to the push rod (snake) with the M12\u00a0threaded sleeve or with tape. After that the sonde<br \/>\nis pushed into the target duct using the push rod.<\/p>\n<p>All PL18-series sondes can be mounted to a variety of push rods. Standard mounting is for rods<br \/>\nwith M12 male thread. With the PL18-FM flexible mounting accessory also M6 rods can be used and<br \/>\nthe PL-MSA accessory enables M5 and M10 rods.<\/p>\n<p>To avoid loosing signal e.g. at corners the sonde is traced with a cable tracer receiver along as<br \/>\nit moves ahead. If sonde hits an obstacle or blockage, it\u2019s possible to define the location and<br \/>\ndepth very accurately, which reduces unnecessary digging.<\/p>\n<p>PL18-05\u00a0diameter is 18.2mm and length with stardard battery compartment is 110mm.
