<p>CL43 Compact Locator is an affordable and easy-to-use wire and cable and duct sonde locator. <iframe style="float: right;" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/hLwDnDOf7hk" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen" data-mce-fragment="1"></iframe><br />
Outdoors CL43 can be used to trace and pinpoint underground cables and sondes in several meters depth.<br />
Indoors CL43 can be used to locate for example floor heating cables and wires inside walls.</p>
<p>CL43 has a simple user interface with only two buttons, 13 LED lights and a speaker. Probes are easy to<br />
disconnect therefore it easy to carry the receiver and a probe even in a pocket. CL43-PB kit does not include<br />
a transmitter, however, it is compatible with all Vesala 512Hz sondes <a href="https://fiberoptics24.eu/product/sonde-pl18-05m12f-18-mm-512-hz/"><span style="color: #00ccff;">PL18-05</span></a> and <a href="https://fiberoptics24.eu/product/megasonde-pl42-05-42-mm-512-hz/"><span style="color: #00ccff;">PL42-05</span></a>. 512Hz is intended<br />
especially for tracing metal ducts, such as cast iron.</p>
<p>Other Vesala duct sondes operate at 10kHz and 33kHz (<a href="https://fiberoptics24.eu/product-category/fiber-optic-accessories/"><span style="color: #00ccff;">See Duct Sondes on Accesories page</span></a>) and the compatible CL43<br />

It is very useful when new cables are to be pushed into old ducts, which already have installed cables or<br />
other obstacles. MPL9-33 is intended to be used with the <span style="color: #00ccff;"><a style="color: #00ccff;" href="https://vesala.fi/en/product/cl43-compact-locator/">Vesala CL43 Compact Locator</a></span> and other cable tracers<br />

<p>The MPL9-33 construction includes the transmitter unit and battery compartment, which are connected together.<br />
The semi-rigid construction helps the device pass tube curves, joints and obstacles easily. This way <a class="btn btn-primary" style="float: right; width: 336px; height: 50px;" href="https://vesala.fi/wp-content/uploads/vesala_mpl9-33_user_manual.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">USER MANUAL PDF.</a><br />
constructor can validate if ducts are usable for new cables or not. MPL9-33 is intended for ducts having<br />
inner diameter of 12mm or more.</p>
<p><strong>Working with MPL9-33</strong></p>
<p>MPL9-33 turns on and starts sending tracing signal when a battery is inserted and the battery compartment is<br />
turned to the middle part. The sonde is attached to the tip of a push rod (snake) by its M6 female thread,<br />
located at the end of the battery compartment. Alternatively the sonde can be taped to the side of the push<br />
rod to reduce risk of damage.</p>
<p>After that the sonde is pushed into the duct. If there is a blockage in the duct, its location can be roughly<br />
estimated using the length of the rod and cable &amp; duct maps. After that the exact location of MPL9-33 is<br />
traced in the area above ground with a cable tracer receiver. Knowing the exact spot of a blockage considerably<br />
saves time and reduces unnecessary digging costs.</p>
<p>There is a blinking red light at the tip of the transmitter indicating transmitter operation. The disposable<br />
Lithium battery unit gives energy for approx. 6 hours total usage.</p>
<p>MPL9-33 diameter is 9.0mm and length with mounted battery compartment 137mm.</p>

<p>Vesala’s PK2 Drill Point Locator set solves the repeated problem how to drill holes through walls,<iframe style="float: right;" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/70ASsAIplwk" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen" data-mce-fragment="1"></iframe><br />
floors etc. safely and accurately. With PK2 time consuming measuring or using trial &amp; error<br />
drilling to find the right drill location can be avoided. PK2 includes transmitter PKT2 and receiver<br />
PKR2.</p>
<p>Corresponding location on the other side is located with the receiver. The arrow LED indicators of<br />
PKR2 show and distance display reading gets smaller. Green rectangular LEDs appear when the right<br />
spot has been reached. Right spot can be pinpointed accurately up to 150cm distance.</p>
<p>Before drilling it is often good to know whether there are hidden obstacles in the way. PKT2<br />
transmitter has an automatic metal detector feature, which warns if there is metal under it. AC<br />
detector displays if there is alternating voltage present, hinting about possible live mains<br />
wiring underneath.</p>

<p><strong>How to calibrate micro ducts with MPL4-33</strong></p>
<p>Before jetting, a suitable size shock absorber is attached to the sonde. It will protect the<br />
sonde if it hits an obstacle. After inserting a battery sonde is jetted into the duct. If<br />
sonde gets through the duct, duct is successfully calibrated. If sonde stops in the duct, it<br />
is located above ground using a cable tracer receiver. Knowing the exact spot of a blockage<br />
considerably saves time and reduces unnecessary digging costs.</p>
<p><strong>MPL4-33 technical features</strong></p>
<p>MPL4-33 turns on and starts sending tracing signal when a battery is inserted and the battery<br />
cap is attached. Typical tracing distance using CL43 receiver is 2.3 m. Replaceable lithium<br />
battery enables approx. 9 hours total usage time depending on ambient temperature. MPL4-33<br />
diameter is 4.6 mm and length with battery cap 94 mm. Mounting thread for shock absorbers is<br />
M3.5 female. A shock absorber with 4.8 mm calibrator suitable for 6 mm ducts is included. 6.4<br />

It is very useful when new cables are to be pushed into old ducts, which already have installed cables or other<br />
obstacles. MPL7-33 is intended to be used with the Vesala CL43 Compact Locator and other cable tracers and pipe<br />

<p>The MPL7-33 construction includes the transmitter unit and battery compartment, which are connected together.<br />
The semi-rigid construction helps the device pass tube curves, joints and obstacles easily. can validate if ducts are usable for new cables or not. MPL7-33 is intended for ducts having inner diameter of<br />
10mm or more.</p>
<p><strong>Working with MPL7-33</strong></p>
<p>MPL7-33 turns on and starts sending tracing signal when a battery is inserted and the battery compartment is<br />
turned to the middle part. The sonde is attached to the tip of a push rod (snake) by its M6 female thread,<br />
located at the end of the battery compartment. Alternatively the sonde can be taped to the side of the push<br />
rod to reduce risk of damage.</p>
<p>After that the sonde is pushed into the duct. If there is a blockage in the duct, its location can be roughly<br />
estimated using the length of the rod and cable &amp; duct maps. After that the exact location of MPL7-33 is<br />
traced in the area above ground with a cable tracer receiver. Knowing the exact spot of a blockage considerably<br />
saves time and reduces unnecessary digging costs.</p>
<p>There is a blinking red light at the tip of the transmitter indicating transmitter operation. The disposable<br />
Lithium battery unit gives energy for approx. 6 hours total usage.</p>
<p>MPL7-33 diameter is 7.5mm and length with mounted battery compartment 114mm.</p>

<p>Cable tracer TM30 is a cable &amp; wire tracer equipped with monitoring and measuring properties.<iframe loading="lazy" style="float: right;" src="https://vesala.fi/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/TM30.mp4?_=1" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen" data-mce-fragment="1"></iframe><br />
It can be used also at mains environment, so it is well suitable for both telecom and electric<br />
installation work as well as renovation and fault spotting work and much more.<br />
With TM30 it is also possible to trace short length wires or single wires, which are usually hard to find.</p>
<p><strong>Transmitter TMT30</strong><br />
TMT30 has three very easy to use operating modes:</p>
<ul>
<li>In the Trace mode device transmits a signal to be traced with the receiver. TMT30 withstands<br />
voltages up to 400V, so it can be well plugged into e.g. a mains wall socket. Device also displays the<br />
voltage at the outputs and the feeding signal current to the target.</li>
<li>In the Meter mode, TMT30 operates as a voltage and frequency meter.</li>
<li>With a special DSLAM test TMT30 can be used to check whether a CO side ADSL modem is present<br />
on a seemingly unused line.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Receiver TMR30</strong><br />
TMR30 is very versatile:</p>
<ul>
<li>It has three Trace modes to be used to trace and track signals generated by the transmitter on <a class="btn btn-primary" style="float: right; width: 336px; height: 50px;" href="https://vesala.fi/wp-content/uploads/TM30_Brochure.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">PRODUCT INFO SHEET PDF.</a><br />
open wires or cables. Cables can be traced from close ranges up to several metre distance.</li>
<li>The three Monitor modes can be used to monitor, or listen, signals over wires or terminals<br />
without galvanic contact to them.</li>

<li>High frequency signals, such as broadband wires and terminals, can be monitored with<br />

<li>With the Audio freq mode audio frequencies can be listened right at the surface of wires.</li>

<p>TMR30 has fixed internal antennas so it is very compact and easy to use. The LED bar display together<br />
with the audible signals reveal the traced target while tracing. Furthermore TMR30 has an optional<br />
LED work light pointingto the traced spot.</p>
